Thrive Group are delighted to be working with a well-established company based in Chippenham with their recruitment for a permanent Business Rates Analyst to join the company on either a temp to perm or permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
The role of Business Rates Analyst entails completing online searches, to assess if commercial business premises are eligible to receive rate reduction / refund. If so, a case is compiled and passed to the sales team to contact the client.
Typical duties to include:
- Extensive Internet Research on business premises.
- Build cases for business rates and refunds and cross check accuracy.
- Interpretation and manipulation of Excel spreadsheets
What you will need to succeed as Business Rates Analyst:
- High attention to detail, with particular focus on numeracy.
- Good IT skills including intermediate MS Excel skills.
- Degree or A Level educated would be desirable.
What you will receive in return:
- Monday to Friday 09.00Am to 17.00PM - 37.30 hours per week
- £22,000 per annum (rising to £25,000 per annum after successful probation)
