Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Somerset who are actively looking to recruit a Buyer to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

Working with closely with the internal operations team and accounts management to manage an effective buying function.

  • Building strong day to day relationships with existing suppliers and forging new partnerships.
  • To negotiate with suppliers on the best terms for materials, in terms of cost, quality and delivery.
  • Manage the inventory and quality to deliver the clients products.
  • Regular communication with suppliers on all aspects of a purchase order cycle and tracking deliveries.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Previous experience working in a buying department, ideally with an FMCG environment.

What you will receive in return:

  • Competitive(DOE)
  • Monday to Friday - full time
