Compliance Officer

Job Description

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Frome, who are actively seeking to recruit an experienced Compliance Officer to join on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, this is a key role within the business.

What you will be doing:

  • Completion of monthly legislation reviews, updating the business with any relevant changes to site
  • Support 3rd party compliance schemes in registration of new products as well as new and annual certification schemes
  • Management and review of customer specifications
  • Export administration
  • You will also schedule internal audits and be part of the audit team
  • Coordinating customer queries and responses

What you will need to succeed:

  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems is desirable, as is factory systems and procedures
  • Strong communication skills, gained from dealing with customers and suppliers
  • Experience of working in a food/FMCG environments
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • A good level of IT experience including word, excel and PowerPoint

What you will receive in return:

  • to £27,500 per annum, dependant on experience.
  • Monday to Friday; 8.30am to 4.30pm with a half an hour unpaid lunch break, equating to 37.5 hours per week.
  • The potential for some hybrid working
