Thrive Group are hiring for a concrete operative on behalf of our client in Coleford, Radstock. The position will be on a temp to perm and they are looking for a valuable member to join their team ASAP.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 0600-1600
45 hours paid at £12.56 per hour
Job Overview:
Within the role of Concrete Operative, you will be involved in a whole range of different duties within the factory environment. Experience in the concrete industry would be an advantage, but full training will be given to the right applicants.
- Filling moulds with wet and semi-dry concrete
- Stripping, cleaning, oiling and reassembling moulds ready for reuse
- Setting moulds with fixings and reinforcements as specified
- Operating the mixers
- Etching and blinding-in the finished goods
- Any other duty deemed suitable by the Production Manager
Personal Description:
Essential
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
* Ability to prioritise tasks in line with production targets and health & safety requirements
* Excellent time keeping, attendance and flexibility with a positive attitude
Desirable
* Construction/manufacturing industry experience
* Experience manufacturing concrete
* Full clean driving licence
* Forlift Licence
