Electrical Design Manager, permanent career opportunity for a highly skilled, qualified and experienced design manager who is keen to join a rapidly expanding team here in Wiltshire. Ideally educated with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Construction Engineering (or similar), this role plays a key role within the wider senior management team, interacting with all relevant stakeholders, whilst leading and development your direct team to ensure that business requirements, project implementation and design guidelines are met in line with customer specifications.

The role of Electrical Design Manager is offered on a full time, permanent basis with a highly competitive salary circa £60k, management bonus scheme, 25 days holiday, Life Assurance at 4 x salary and an attractive company pension scheme. Naturally, when working within electrical design you will have proven working knowledge of high and low voltage distribution and installation. A sound knowledge of DNO (Distribution Network Operators) and ICP (Independent Connection Providers), perhaps gained when working in the power supply, nuclear and/or renewable energy sectors. This role expects you to challenge the 'status quo', to maximise on performance and results and increase revenue streams.

Other key functions and tasks will include the overseeing of design review and submissions, preparing concept scheme designs and communicate to the appropriate partners and suppliers to build proposals plus the completion of audits and all regulated quality assurance reporting and recording in line with industry standards. You need to demonstrate previous people management skills, the ability to drive and motivate teams and work collaboratively with a diverse range of customers, internal departments and suppliers.

Previous experience must evidence advanced working knowledge of AutoCAD, Amtec or Windebut, the ability to lead and implement design strategies and bring about positive results each and every time.
