Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Trowbridge, who are actively seeking to recruit and Electrical Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
As an experienced Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the management, implementation, supervision, and maintenance of HSE Electrical regulatory compliance and documentation.
- Work with Engineering management team to ensure ALL Electrical Engineering activities meet regulatory and 'Best practice' requirements.
- Support site facilities R&M and PPM maintenance
- Site 'Electrical Duty holder' responsibilities
- Responsible person For DSEAR / ATEX
- Formulate and provide Electrical SSOW's for the Engineering team - support the training matrix to support the 'Skills & knowledge development of engineering team personnel.
- Ensure the site meets all HSE regulatory and GMP requirements.
- Achievement of Electrical Compliance KPI targets.
- Authorised Control of engineering spend to achieve compliance requirements
- Negotiate and control external support maintenance contracts
- Formulate and manage the site Facilities compliance 'Matrix schedule'
- Support and promote continuous improvement.
- Plan and schedule Contractor maintenance activities.
- Provide 'Excellent' internal customer service.
What you will need to succeed:
- FMCG background essential
- Continuous Improvement
- Engineering management experience
- Time served Electrical apprenticeship with high level of knowledge / experience.
- Fully conversant with latest HSE electrical guidance
- Background of electrical supervisory and Duty holder responsibilities
- Contractor control experience
- IOSH trained
What you will receive in return:
- Monday to Friday 08.30AM to 17.00PM
- £40,000 to £45,000 per annum (DOE)
