Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Frome who are actively looking to recruit a Financial controller to join the team.
What you will be doing:
Working closely with senior management team you will be responsible for and management of the finance team and all aspects of finance of both sites.
- Produce all weekly, monthly and annual management and financial reporting including year-end statutory accounts, develop new systems as appropriate to gain efficiencies, speed of output and standardisation of presentation
- Ensure that the accounting records and financial control procedures are maintained at a level which meets all internal, group and external audit requirements
- Produce long term plans, budgets and forecasts to map and analyse and the performance of the Company
- To monitor cash flow and currency requirements, providing cash flow forecasting as required
What you will need to succeed:
- Qualified/Part Qualified with recognised professional accounting body (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE accompanied by good general standard of education
- Experience of credit and transactional management desirable with the ability to prioritise and organise a large workload
- A good general understanding of IT systems and software, proficiency in MS Excel is of particular importance
