Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Frome who are actively looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineering Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, this challenging role includes driving & leading a team of engineers on site towards a structured approach in the department focused on preventative maintenance.
- Coordinating daily with the operational maintenance team leaders to lead & mentor events within the factory in order to improve equipment and process performance.
- Working together with the Manufacturing Manager and others in the management team to plan and execute a maintenance program to ensure the factory is in the best conditioned to meet the production requirement.
- Ensure that there is an uninterrupted supply of finished product to the packing area and that the plant is used efficiently.
- Be proactive in ensuring the site meets its targets for KPI's including energy usage and emissions control.
What you will need to succeed:
- Experience working in a large factory / manufacturing company.
- Degree in Engineering: Preferable in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Leader of people, strong organisational skills & a good communicator
- Displays strong coaching and influencing skills, along with the ability to inspire employees and managers on all levels.
- Ability to work in large cross-functional teams and at multiple levels in the organization
