Marketing Executive

Thrive Oldham are recruiting on behalf of our well established client for a talented Marketing Executive to join their innovative marketing team in the Manchester head office.

You will need to be a collaborative, creative and enthusiastic person who can influence through insight and thoughtful communication. As Marketing Executive you will be a key part of the marketing department.

Main Responsibilities:

POS Management

  • Development of retail point of sale (POS)
  • Working closely with the wider marketing and sales team you will own the POS process from concept to execution and work closely with a 3rd party print agency.

Product Management

  • Development of product presentations for sales team and retail buyers
  • Overseeing control of product imagery for packaging, catalogue and online
  • Develop detailed product copy for retail catalogues and online web pages
  • Assist with set up and maintenance of company showroom
  • Present products to sales team and monthly meetings
  • Development of web banners, retail catalogues, consumer, and trade adverts
  • Working alongside PR agency in generating PR support plans
  • Undertake regular market research & competitor analysis
  • Work alongside UK sales team, Hong Kong, and internal design studios
  • To support the Marketing Director with ad hoc requests

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • 2-year Relevant experience within Marketing or POS
  • Organised with good attention to detail
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Knowledge of software packages and functions, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Strong presentation skills & creative flair
  • Driving Licence

Desirable:

  • Experience within toys and games industry
  • Degree in Business/Marketing
  • Product Management experience
