Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Frome who are actively looking to recruit Packing Shift Supervisor to join the team.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will take responsibility for the Packing Team, to allocate workload and ensure the daily targets of product is packed in time ready for dispatch.
- Working with the packing team to ensure goods are moving quickly through our work flows.
- Liaise with the product team members to ensure that finished goods are re-stocked.
- Being aware of stock usage during the day and flagged any potential stock issues.
- Ensure that all products are packed to company quality standards and checks are carried out for any defects.
- Training of new packing staff in line with on-boarding guidelines
What you will need to succeed:
- Effective Team Leading/Supervisory experience, preferably in production / manufacturing.
- Excellent Organisation and planning skills.
- Previous experience with shopify and shipstation or e-commerce shopify is highly desirable.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead, train and delegate.
- Able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
What you will receive in return:
- £32,000 to £35,000 per annum
- Rotating 3 shift : Earlies 0600-1400 / lates 1400-2200 / Nights 2200-0600
