Product Sales Engineer based in Wiltshire, new and exciting career opportunity for a Degree Educated (Mechanical or Science related) Engineer who is looking to develop engineering knowledge within the telecommunications sector. Working with the design and process development team, you will receive first class product knowledge training to ensure that you provide technical product advice to UK wide clients.

Main responsibilities will include providing response to all client technical specifications via the telephone, in person and through email communication, driving through best solutions and product requirements. You will meet and work closely with key clients, understanding specific designs and materials, working with design prototypes to ensure that the products are manufactured in line with client requests.

As a Product Sales Engineer you will possess 'rounded' technical and mechanical engineering 'know how', a keenness to learn new products, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to proactively solve client queries and deliver new and innovative technical manufacturing options for a diverse range of UK clients.

Other key tasks will include supporting the loading of all product types onto an Oracle database, assisting the Product Manager with quotations, and pricing structures, helping to support bid/tender/pricing decisions plus full product range analysis and product development.

As a Product Sales Engineer, you will possess an excellent work ethic and be able to respond quickly to client enquiries as they arise. You will have a solid understanding of scientific and engineering principals, ideally educated to Degree Level (n Engineering or Scientifics) or equivalent, with the ability to understand fundamental problems, offering solutions and outcomes for the client and the business. Naturally, you will have Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to effectively articulate information at all levels in the business. A good working knowledge of MS Office package (Word, Excel and Access) is essential with previous engineering or product sales a distinct advantage.
