Technical Liaison Engineer, working in Swindon, newly created permanent career opportunity for an established engineer who is looking to offer technical engineering advise to customers and key contracts. Ideally, you will have a HND/HNC Engineering Degree - or Science related, with 3 years previous engineering experience, gained within design, production and/or manufacturing.
This is a full-time post and offers £35,000, plus performance related bonus scheme, plenty of career progression and other excellent employee benefits. Based on a hybrid working pattern, you will be in the office 3 days per week and able to work from home for 2 days per week. As a Technical Liaison Engineer, you will have a good understanding of electrical. mechanical or production engineering principles, able to liaise in a professional, constructive, and informative manner, giving advice, helping with queries and sharing information with the wider design, production and scheduling teams.
As a Technical Liaison Engineer, you will have a keen eye for detail, able to understand, explain and define engineering differences, requirements and share ideas with the customer in order to obtain the best solution. Working in the Technical Sales team will see full involvement in producing quotes and costings, discussing customer deadlines, working to schedules and delivery of the product and service. Ideally you will have previous working knowledge of Oracle SOP, MS office (word, excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint), the ability to produce written instructions to exceptionally high standard.
The need to have excellent levels of verbal and written communications skills are key to the success of this role as it's all about the customer, the product/service and your ability to understand and deliver in conjunction with the wider teams.
