Thrive Oldham are recruiting for TIG welders on behalf of our well established Automotive client in the Merthyr area.
Our client is an international organisation, renowned within its field for its excellent service and product innovation within the manufacturing industry. Based in South Wales, this company specialises in metal engineered products. Its highly trained and committed workforce is paramount to the continued success of the business.
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Welder to join the organisation. Working within a small team, the successful candidate will have experience of working with materials such as steel, stainless steel & copper. Experience of welding components such as fittings and flanges would be an advantage.
It is essential that you have experience of reading and working to engineering drawings as well as knowledge of Lean Manufacture & 5's. Good computer skills are essential for this role.
Experience of working within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment is also essential for the role. The successful candidate will be time served with at least 3 years' experience and will be subject to a welding test.
Welding test needed - TIG welding desirable

Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm rotating
