Thrive Group are delighted to be working with market leading manufacturing company in Trowbridge who are actively seeking to engage a Warehouse / Forklift Driver - Weekdays/ Weekend - Temporary to Permanent for the right candidate.
What you will be doing:
Our client is seeking an Experienced Warehouse / Forklift Driver, with a passion for attention to detail, following of process and compliance within a fast-paced manufacturing warehouse environment as well as able to adapt well to different situations. Communication skills are vital, you will present yourself professionally and deliver your part within the team to the highest of standards.
The successful candidate will be able to provide dedicated and quality product support across a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain operational picking/warehouse targets. Including, but not limited to:
- FLT Operation (Counterbalance & Reach)
- Manual Handling
- Product quality checks
- Use of company IT systems and processes (training provided)
- Opportunities for additional training across the wider business
- Adherence to all Health & Safety policies and PPE requirements
- Identify process improvements
- Keen eye for detail
What you will need to succeed:
- FLT (Counterbalance and Reach) trained - In House trained accepted, as refresher provided
- Willingness to learn and develop within role, and the wider business
- Strong team player
- Experience in similar environments advantageous
- Structured approach to ensure production targets are met
- Good level of conversational English
- Good level of Mathematics
Working Hours:
1. 24 hour shift pattern - 3 Required
-Week 1 (days) - 0600-1800 Sat/Sun & Week 2 (nights) - Fri 2200-0600 Sat / Sat 1800-0600 Sun / Sun - 1800-2200
2. Day Shift Monday to Friday - 1 Required
-0600-1400/ 0700-1500
3. Late Shift Monday to Friday - 2 Required
-1400-2200/ 1500-2300
Pay Rate:
- 24 hour shift pattern - £11.00 per hour + 25% shift premium (£13.75)
- Day shift - £11.00 per hour
- Late shift - £11.00 per hour + 15% shift premium (£12.65)
