Accounts Assistant

Job Description

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in the Trowbridge area, who are actively looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

Working in a busy and friendly team, you will provide essential support to the team, duties will include :

  • Managing new client accounts including credit applications
  • Sending out supplier statements
  • Reconciling customer accounts
  • Month end sales ledger processing including reconciliations
  • Monthly aged debtors reporting
  • Updating cashflow on a regular basis
  • Additional duties including assisting with fleet maintenance / ad hoc projects and when required

What you will need to succeed:

  • A proven track record in a similar role is essential
  • Organised, efficient and good at working under pressure
  • A good level of numeracy
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a small team
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (excel in particular)
  • Excellent communication skills over the phone as well as via email
