Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our manufacturing client near Calne, who are actively seeking an Assembly Engineer on a temporary to permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
- Assembly of a range of units including fitting guards, switches, hoses, gearboxes, motors and pumps
- Working from technical drawings to complete assemblies
- Test and carry out fault finding when required, raising issues and identifying potential causes for the units failures
- Preparation of products for despatch, assembling and cleaning components and completing PDI sheets
What you need in order to succeed :
- Experience within a production environment using a variety of hydraulic, electric and manual tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
