Building Service Project Manager

Job Description

Building Services Project Manager, permanent vacancy based in Swindon for an experienced PM who has worked in a commercial services role, preferably within a power utility or construction industry. Working for a world-wide manufacturing client on a full-time base (Hybrid working 2 days home based and 3 in the office). The role of Building Services Project Manager will see full management and control of multiple key client contracts from initial implementation to contract 'go live' and review. This position is offered at £45,000, end of year performance bonus plus outstanding employee benefits package.

Reporting to the Project Service Director, you will work with field and project engineers, contractors and suppliers, ensuring that all contractual requirements are delivered on time and within budget constraints. The need to comply with strict Environmental, Health and Safety requirements and ISO quality standards are key requisites, as you will need to conduct risk assessments on each contract site/location and requirement, scheduling and planning of specific works and checking quality and contract installation. There is a need to visit UK client sites to assess customer satisfaction and to inspect quality of work (usually every 2/3 months), therefore due to the product, you will need to be comfortable working at height in a high voltage environment and be familiar with harnessing/rigging requirements.

As a Building Services Project Manager, the majority of your time will be spent working closely with the Project Services Director and teams based in the Swindon office, ensuring that all financial information is current and correct with finance, that all contractual paperwork is managed and retained to the required procedures and above all being part of the wider senior management team for greater collaboration.

Ideally your previous employment history will include project management work in a construction, building services or installation field, maybe with a B.Eng or HND/HNC In Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and a robust understanding of civils', Bills of Materials and, managing risk and site compliance. You will have access to a company hire care for any site visit and travel requirements.
