CNC Machinist/Grinder, new permanent career opportunity working within the composite motorsport industry based in Berkshire. This employer provides engineering support to high performance global motorsport teams. This is a full-time post working Monday - Friday on a day shift. Offering an annual salary between £28k - £34K dependent on skills and experience, supported by an excellent employee and health care package.
Responsible for the delivery of high quality, precision engineering used in the manufacturing of motorsport parts, we are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist/Grinder who can demonstrate skills within CNC, Turning, Milling, Gear Cutting, Heat Treatment, Grinding including Gear Grinding. You will have prior knowledge of CNC programming using a range of modern-day software applications and all precision equipment and measurement tools.
Naturally, we would expect you to have the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, change, and correct tooling programmes to improve overall machining performance. It is vital that you have ample experience on a range of grinding equipment to include Jones & Shipman and Studer surface grinding machinery.
As a CNC Machinist grinder, there is an expectation to help and assist others within the team, to act in a professional and Health and Safety conscious manner, maintaining a clean working environment. Ideally, we are looking to attract a candidate with a minimum of 3-5 years of previous relevant experience.
