Job Description

CNC Programmer, new vacancy for an experienced candidate who can work a rotating early/late shift and demonstrate at least 3 years previous CNC/Tooling and Programming experience. This is a permanent post, based in rural Gloucestershire and is supported by an attractive salary of £32000 (inclusive of shift pay) plus exceptional employee benefits package.

Working for a well-established manufacturing and engineering client, you will work to produce the highest quality standards of tooling used in the motion control and power generation sectors. You will need to evidence excellent working knowledge of FANUC OT Programming, the skills gained in drilling, turning and tapping operations on a variety of component parts, with excellent levels of written and verbal communication skills.

Working with a number of highly skilled and qualified CNC Programmers and Operators, you will be able to work as part of a wider team with a keen eye for detail is much needed for the production of accurate component parts. The ability to set up and operate several computerised numerical controlled tools plus the drilling and turning of a range of complexities all form key requirements within this position.

This will include the completion of all relevant QA documentation, reporting on all results pre final inspection stage. Assessing dimensions and tolerances are constant due to the accuracy of specification, therefore able to adjust, to modify and edit programmes plus all other tooling and machining is essential.

The working hours are 37.5 per week and includes one week 06.00 - 14.00pm and 14.00 to midnight Monday to Thursday. A great career opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer looking for the next move.
