Construction Site Section Leader, working for a global civil engineering client who is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Site Leader. Working on an environmental improvement programme based in North Wales requires a candidate with extensive experience of the construction industry. Suited to a candidate seeking a permanent, salaried role ranging between £55k - £75k, car allowance and excellent employee perks and benefits. You will possess proven people management skills, including the management of subcontractors, with a practical hands-on approach.

Ideally educated to Degree Level Construction with training and certification gained as an CSCS supervisor, SMSTS and First Aid qualified, supported by NRSWA certification is highly advantageous. With a strong environmental awareness, excellent people skills, proven leadership qualities and the ability to motivate others is most definitely required in this post.

As Construction Site Section Leader, you will have excellent communication, organisational, planning and time management skills, able to produce reports on a range of software and used at key stakeholder meetings and reviews. Responsible for the management and ordering of deliveries to site, ensuring that the correct plant and equipment is in place at all times. Working on multiple projects with the wider project team, assessing and reviewing requirements against service contract and in line with client specification is key.

There is a need to collaborate with the Site Project Manager and wider team in the production of work schedules, methods statements and site inspections, communicating verbally and in writing to ensure and endorse quality and regulations is critical. Responsible for briefing onsite staff and sub-contractors on all areas of safety whilst ensuring that Health and Safety plans are in place, are reviewed at regular intervals, delivering training to staff whilst managing the close out of any Close Calls or unsafe acts/working conditions. This also includes the investigation and reporting of accidents in line with RIDDOR.
