Corporate Engagement Development Manager - Midlands and North. A permanent career opportunity has arisen for experienced business development/ engagement manager who can demonstrate the creation of new revenue streams for a prestigious charitable and educational learning institute. This is a full-time post, based remotely with occasional meetings at the head office in Wiltshire, a role which requires extensive UK-wide travel (mainly in the Midlands and North) due to the scope and coverage of the customer base.
Offered with a salary of £40,000 plus £20,000 bonus, car allowance of £430 per month and a very attractive benefits package. You will work alongside a team of sales and account management professionals, responsible for the maintenance of existing corporate customer accounts plus the generation of new corporate awards. Working in collaboration with CIO level stakeholders primarily within the public sector (The MOD, NHS, Central Government) or high profile corporate private limited companies.
As a Corporate Engagement Development Manager, you will possess a strategic, dynamic, and consultative approach to corporate engagement and development. Able to take ownership for the development of existing customer relationships, there is plenty of scope for new product and business launches. The key objective is to both maintain and increase professional membership to an inclusive and ethical group of customers, who expect only optimum levels of service and ongoing communication. Ideally educated to Degree Level in Business and/or Computer Science, the role of Corporate Engagement Development Manager will allow you the opportunity to maintain your technical IT skills, whilst creating and developing customer relationships for the promotion and introduction of new IT/Digital learning platform products.
The position of Corporate Engagement Development Manager is an integral role especially within the corporate team, with great emphasis on customer relations and retained business streams. The need to work to personal targets, manage your time and availability, meet both financial and operational remits are just some of the criteria required when considering this professional business development role. Naturally you will have excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and a proven track record in sales and customer service management and engagement.
