This is an exciting and newly added permanent career opportunity for an Electrical Estimator, based here in Swindon. This is best suited to a candidate who enjoys working with new and existing clients delivering innovative electrical supply solutions across the UK. Based on full time working hours, you have the opportunity to agree a flexible hybrid working pattern, coupled with an attractive salary of £42,000 plus outstanding employee benefit package.

As an Electrical Estimator, you will tender for new UK business with a key focus on retaining long-term relationships with a diverse range of customers. Responsible for the overseeing of all business costing models, seeing the tender process through to final design and delivery. You will be a self-starter, someone who can work well in a team whilst able to work on singular projects, but can remain collaborative with other teams, functions and key stakeholders.

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with proven electrical high/low voltage supply knowledge, turnkey projects, talking to manufacturers, key account teams, finance and sales to ensure that the final product is produced and delivered to exceptionally high standards. If you have an Engineering Degree (or similar) or can evidence working in the wider engineering sector, this would be of benefit to this client.

As an Electrical Estimator, you will be expected to attend customer site surveys, assess, review and check all necessary risks in line with electrical power supply. The ability to understand and read technical drawings, take-offs and schedules are key elements in this role, therefore your verbal and written communication skills are vital to the overall success of this position.

If you have working knowledge of SimPro and any other relevant business systems this would be a great advantage. The ability to create accurate quotations, produce reports and pricing schedules along with all other communication will assist your role and the wider business.
