Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Preston who are actively looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join and expanding manufacturing client on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
Working as part of a wider engineering team, your overall objective as electrical engineer is to maintain and enhance all machinery performance, optimising output, and safety, whilst reducing engineering downtime.
What you will need to succeed
- Demonstrate a track record in electrical maintenance, electrical repair.
- Proven skills in fault finding on 3 phase control circuits.
- Excellent working knowledge of PLC's (Siemens or Allen Bradley).
- Ideally educated to NVQ 3/ONC/HNC Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in an automated FMCG production site,
- Some mechanical engineering skills to ensure that the site and plant equipment is maintained to a continuous high safety standard.
What you will receive in return:
- To £46,500 per annum (DOE) + Overtime
- Working a 2 day on/2 night on 4 off rotating shift.
