Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our progressive client based in the Bradford area who are actively looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

Fault find and diagnose equipment breakdowns, assessing the best course of action and conducting a performance repair.

  • Carrying out repair or maintenance tasks as required
  • Involvement with continuous improvement projects and equipment installations
  • Fault finding (both mechanical and electrical)
  • Using CMMS to record and manage work as well as lean manufacturing tools to improve efficiency

What you will need to succeed:

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment essential
  • A good understanding of Pneumatics and hydraulics (Mitsubishi/Siemens)
  • Knowledge of inverters, drives and PLCs
  • Ability to work on own and as part of a team
  • NVQ3 or ONC engineering electrical engineering or equivalent

What you will receive in return:

  • Continental shift pattern
  • Salary range £41,500 - £50,000 DOE (opportunities for progression with structured pay increases, subject to skills assessment)
  • 31 Days Paid Holidays Per Year (inclusive of statutory)
  • Company sick pay scheme
