Electromechanical Service Engineer

Job Description

Electromechanical Service Engineer required for an established provider of services within the areas of power system communications and voltage control. With an initial base in Wiltshire, this role is working on a UK wide mobile basis, you will be provided with a company works vehicle and the chance to work collaboratively within a highly successful team of service engineers. Ideally educated to Level 4 qualification in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, you must be able to demonstrate a robust understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering, combined with experience gained of electrical circuit testing. You will also possess excellent fault-finding procedures, electro-mechanical and electronic relay testing.

As an Electromechanical Service Engineer, your employment skills will evidence plenty of ability when understanding and following schematic and wiring diagrams, to understand and complete all necessary H&S documentation, to conduct Risks (RAMS), Hotworks permits, and conduct Toolbox talks with staff and contractors. There is a need to install cable containment systems, perform small and intricate wiring work plus cable looming. With proven verbal and written communication skills be able to deliver communication to the management team and wider team, working with MS Office (Outlook and Word) for all mandatory communication and documentation.

Working within the company's ISO certifications and a number of customer onsite quality inspections, you will need to work in a planned and logical manner, ensuring that each customer receives the correct levels of service and communication. Responsible for assessing each job, providing written reports and ensuring that the correct materials and job requirements are used/ met in line with specific quality standards.
