Hygiene Operative

Thrive Group are seeking a Hygiene Operative to join an expanding team at one of their clients in Warminster, Wiltshire. This role involves working within a frozen, food-based factory. Immediate starts available.

Our client are seeking high calibre candidates. Applicants must be able to cope with the pressures of working in a fast paced factory. Communication and team work is key.

IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE

Pay £12.00 per hour

We are seeking staff on the following fixed shift:

Monday to Friday
0945-1915

Main responsibilities are as follows:

  • To ensure the infrastructure of the factory is maintained to the correct cleanliness and hygiene standards and strict compliance to in-house hygiene routines.

  • To ensure all plant, equipment and utensils are maintained to correct cleanliness and hygiene standards and strict compliance to in-house hygiene routines.

  • To ensure prompt removal of all food and packaging waste from all factory areas to external sealed waste skip. Waste skip to be kept sealed at all times.

  • To keep external yard area clean at all times ensuring any waste spillage is cleaned up immediately.

  • To ensure office, canteen, restroom and toilet facilities are maintained to the correct cleanliness and hygiene standards and strict compliance to in-house hygiene routines.

  • To launder all internal workwear and overalls using in-house laundry facilities.

  • To complete all relevant paperwork and schedules accurately and in compliance to HACCP procedures.

  • Working safely to protect your own safety and those around you. Following company health and safety procedures at all times and reporting breaches to the Factory Manager

  • Complying to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), protecting food safety at all times. Report any food safety or quality concerns to Factory Manager.

  • Complete relevant training programs as requested by the company

  • Carry out any other duties as requested by site management
