Injection Mould Machinist, permanent vacancy for an experienced machinist seeking permanent employment on a day shift based in Hertford. Working for a global manufacturer of bespoke engineered parts, this position offers an annual salary up to £32,000 dependant on experience, coupled with excellent employee benefits (25 days holiday, contributory pension scheme, health and well being care and career development opportunities.
You will be responsible for the set up and operation of injection moulding machinery to shape plastics, able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. The ability to adjust machine settings to complete tasks, operate general machinery to meet a variety of specifications, whilst ensuring that all work is carried out to high quality and spec.
As an Injection Mould Machinist, you will inspect moulds for damage ad defects, repairing and salvaging where possible, looking at improvement methods and liaising with line management and quality teams. Abe to monitor gauges on a range of injection machinery to ensure operation within specific parameters, monitoring equipment and all management of raw materials and correct stock levels. Reviewing samples, providing reports and feedback, whilst working to tight deadlines and strict KPI's.
You will need to develop excellent working relationships with internal staff, key management and customers, ensuring that all information is shared professionally and efficiently. Having excellent working knowledge of Health and Safety in a fast paced manufacturing facility is also key to the success of this role.
