Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Trowbridge, who are actively seeking to recruit a Laboratory Technician to join on lates 15.00PM to 23.00PM on a temp to perm basis,
What you will be doing:
Working in the micro lab, in a clean room environment you will be supporting the micro team, with the following activities:
- Organising and preparing plates.
- Cleaning / washing sterilising equipment
- Preparing equipment for the autoclave
- After full training - Set up testing and record results.
- General assistant duties.
What you will need to succeed:
- Prevoous experience in a laboratory environment.
- Able to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure there is not possibility of contamination.
- Science orientated graduate or similar.
- Great communication skills.
What you will receive in return:
- Training : Monday to Friday 09.00AM to 17.00PM @ £21,424 per annum
- LATEs: 15.00PM to 23.00Pm - £23,107.50 per annum (includes shift allowance)
