Thrive Group are delighted to be hiring for a Learning & Development Assistant on behalf of a well established food manufacturing client in Warminster. They are looking for a candidate to start on the 17th / 24th June. The contract will initially be on a 12 month basis with opportunities for it to extend for the right candidate. Training will be provided.
Pay: £26,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday 0800-1600 / 0900-1700 (37.5 hours paid per week)
Responsibilities of the Role:
Project Work
- Work across departments to support the development of key projects within the Learning and Development arena.
- Provide research-led insights to support the creation of Learning and Development project content.
- Tracking and maintaining a database of learner needs and supporting the evaluation of central training initiatives, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with the coordination of external suppliers to source appropriate training solutions and coordinate evaluation of activities.
- Coordinating central training activities and initiatives (internal and external).
- Be a key point of contact for the business regarding Apprenticeships and supporting the engagement with local schools and colleges.
- Support with the focus of the 360-learning portal within the organisation in collaboration with the LFF UK L&D HR team
Induction and Training Sessions
- Assist with Lunch and Learn sessions and learning at work week.
- Tailor training programs to meet the specific needs of our organisation, considering unique operational requirements.
- Ensure all internal training activities align with industry safety regulations and organisational guidelines.
Documentation and Reporting
- Supporting the management of the training budget tracker
- To assist the L&D Partner in generating a training plan to meet departmental targets and KPI's.
- To support the L&D Partner in the development of a Training Matrix and reviewing the training/succession planning requirement from the ELEVO data

- Competent IT skills Microsoft 365

- Keen to design and deliver training solutions and Projects.
Experience & Qualifications:
Information technology experience ie Microsoft packages
A good standard of education
Part CIPD qualified or Experienced is project delivery assistance.
