Logistics Manager

Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our established, market leading client based in Westbury who are actively looking to recruit a Logistics Manager on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing the logistics function for this fast-paced manufacturer
  • Overseeing warehouse and driver teams
  • Dealing with receipt, storage and despatch of materials and products
  • Driver route planning
  • Managing a small team including recruitment, training and performance management
  • Logistics budget management
  • Liaison with a number of internal departments and third party suppliers

What you will need to succeed:

  • A proven track record in a similar role is essential, along with transport/fleet management experience
  • First class supervisory skills
  • A reactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure with ever changing deadlines
  • CPC/HGV/Forklift licence beneficial
