Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our established, market leading client based in Westbury who are actively looking to recruit a Logistics Manager on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
- Managing the logistics function for this fast-paced manufacturer
- Overseeing warehouse and driver teams
- Dealing with receipt, storage and despatch of materials and products
- Driver route planning
- Managing a small team including recruitment, training and performance management
- Logistics budget management
- Liaison with a number of internal departments and third party suppliers
What you will need to succeed:
- A proven track record in a similar role is essential, along with transport/fleet management experience
- First class supervisory skills
- A reactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure with ever changing deadlines
- CPC/HGV/Forklift licence beneficial
