Manufacturing Machine Minders, based Wiltshire, offering permanent career opportunities for mechanically minded candidates, those who may have obtained either a BTEC in Engineering, Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Engineering or a BEng in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering. As a Manufacturing Machine Minder, your primary objective is to ensure that all aspects related to the Tooling and CNC Machining Areas are managed and maintained in a controlled safe, effective, and efficient manner. Working in line with GMP and all Tooling Health and safety standards you and the wider team will provide the business with effective support functions across the CNC Machining Areas.

You will learn all about the products, the materials used, the varied processes per specification and taught some of the best engineering and tooling skills available. In line with Health and Safety regulations, you will have the responsibility for the safety of machine loading/unloading of products/components from machines. Following stringent engineering principles plus maintaining all procedures is a key requirement of this position and will include the correct issuing and loading of Raw Material to the machines.

Maintenance of machinery is key, and you will receive training to ensure that all machines are replenished with coolant and oil.As a Manufacturing Machine Minder, you will manage and patrol inspection, monitoring and recording of identified and key component sizes and features throughout the manufacturing Batch run of product on machines. You will be expected to flag any immediate concerns and errors to senior engineering staff and report on any non-conformance. There is an expectation of 100% Visual inspection, Quality checks plus the recording of components for identified features and defects and damage.

In this position you will receive training on CNC Milling, Turning, Grinding and fished product, ensuring that all equipment, tooling, gauging etc is handled/stored securely and safely to prevent any damage.
