Manufacturing Sales Manager, permanent career opportunity for an experienced sales professional who can evidence a proven track record in manufacturing and machining sales and account management. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday offered with an annual salary up to £55,000 and a range of attractive employee benefits. We are seeking a candidate with a robust understanding and appreciation of a Tooling/CNC environment, someone who has worked within manufacturing for at least 5 years.
Working for a UK provider of outsourced manufacturing solutions to the aerospace sector, this client is highly focused on quality and standards, therefore the global customer base expects only the very best. Ideally, we are looking for a sales manager who has worked within Defence, F1 and/or Aerospace, with sound account management and driving through business development of new products and customers. Naturally, there is a need to visit customers, arrange sales meetings ad prepare and present sales presentations, working alongside the technical design team, the finance and quality teams and the key stakeholders.
As Manufacturing Sales Manager, you will work with the wider sales team, reporting the MD and FD, looking at innovate business development solutions to increase the business and encourage growth. There is a need to manage the internal sales database and CRM systems, providing written correspondence regarding products, pricing, and delivery schedules.
You will have strong management skills combined with a solid business development/sales track record, excellent organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and the ability to meet KPI's and sales targets. Ideally educated to time served/degree engineering level, this is a great career opportunity that will utilise your proven sales and technical knowledge and experience.
