Ideally, we are seeking an experienced team leader who can work with production operatives from a CNC/Tool making operation, those who work on state-of-the-art CNC machinery, combining operation of lathes, jigs, and precision measurement equipment. If you have worked within a similar industry, this would be of great advantage. As Manufacturing Team Leader, you will need excellent knowledge and understanding of First Article Inspection, able to identify areas of concern and continually strive for improved manufacturing methods and application.
As Manufacturing Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities to ensure that current manufacturing commitments are achieves, coordinating departmental activities to fulfil customer sales orders, meeting inventory and stock management procedures in line with the products. Your previous skills will include staff training, review and performance management, holiday rota's, sickness and absence reporting, and general staff health and well-being, ensuring that all support is provided for the greater need of the business and the employees.
Naturally as Manufacturing Team Leader you will be involved with internal quality audits and product inspection, working with the wider team to endorse high manufacturing standards, looking at stocks and materials to ensure that they meet the needs of the customer base. There is a need to ensure that rigorous checks and quality standards are maintained with a keen eye on continuous quality improvements, working to strict KPI's and service level agreements. Involvement with policy and procedure management is required, delivering new and improved ways of working to better show case the business and the services offered.
