Job Description

Marketing Manager required for an immediate start, seeking a qualified and experienced marketing manager based in Wiltshire. Based on a 12-18-month fixed term contract, this position requires you to have Membership of a Professional Body (CIM/IDM) or equivalent, supported by an attained marketing qualification or degree equivalent. Working full time, Monday to Friday, 4 days remote and 1 day office based, this position offers an annual salary of £41500 plus a range of exceptional employee benefits.

Working for a leading educational provider, who has charitable and Royal Charter status, will ensure that your proven marketing management skills will be used to their fullest potential. Working in the professional membership field requires a knowledge and articulate marketing manager who can work as part of a wider team, contributing towards increased membership and retained services.

Your previous marketing expertise will be evident when demonstrating excellent knowledge of HTML/copywriting and digital marketing skills, supporting the development and delivery of the membership marketing strategy. Responsible for owning and conducting market research to define customer requirements, applying customer and market insight to develop targeting and positioning marketing strategies.

As Marketing Manager, you will work as part of a wider marketing and product design team, implementing marketing plans, building brand awareness, generating new sales whilst increasing customer engagement and retention. Ensuring that all campaign messaging supports the overarching brand message and all campaign themes. Responsible for managing the marketing budget, preparation of costed plans, working with the business unit to obtain the initial briefs, turning it into an integrated marketing programme, whilst applying all creative thinking and initiative.

Naturally, you will ensure that all marketing campaigns are managed through the correct GDPR and legislative channels, with a strong customer focus, able to plan, execute and deliver marketing solutions to a highly competitive sector. In addition, you will have excellent working knowledge of CRM systems including HubSpot and Salesforce, plus marketing platform technologies including Canva, Hootsuite and SEMRush.
