Mechanical/Electrical Plant Fitter, based Swindon, permanent career opportunity for an experienced engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 with an electrical bias. Ideally you will have at least 2-3 years' previous mechanical/electrical plant/site maintenance experience working on a variety of plant based equipment. Offered an annual salary of £35,000 plus some exceptional employee benefits, this position is available working a permanent day shift.

Working for a global provider of engineering and technological solutions to the public sector and high-profile clients requires a candidate to have a solid employment history in mechanical/electrical engineering, supported by excellent employee references, willing to complete relevant security and vetting checks. Working here in Swindon you should be able to demonstrate engineering capabilities for diagnostic fault-finding on water systems, generators, heavy plant machinery and vehicles.

As a Mechanical/Electrical Plant Fitter, you will have excellent Health and Safety (COSHH) knowledge and experience, the ability to work on isolated projects or as part of a team, working to deadlines and in line with service level agreements. Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, the completion of essential documentation, the inspection of electrical systems and servicing of power supplies.
