Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our Bath based client who seek a Payroll/Accounts Assistant on an 18 month FTC basis.

What you will be doing:

In this pivotal role within the finance team, your duties will include the following :

Key Responsibilities :

  • Processing payroll in a timely manner for each pay period
  • Inputting, maintaining and updating employee records
  • Review of salary information for new employees / contract amendments
  • Processing overtime and expense claims / payroll deductions
  • Preparing the payroll BACs file for authorisation
  • Assisting with month end / year end procedures
  • Dealing with payroll queries from employees
  • Payroll reporting for management
  • Additional assistance with sales and purchase ledger duties

What you will need to succeed:

  • A proven track record within payroll is essential
  • Other accounts experience also required - sales and purchase ledger as well as reconciliations
  • The ability to work under pressure with ever changing deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office (word/outlook and excel) and SharePoint
  • First rate communication skills at all levels including a confidential approach

What you will receive in return :

  • Salary to £31,762pa DOE
  • 18 month Fixed Term Contract
  • Monday to Friday 37 hours per week
  • Immediate start available!
