Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Frome who are actively looking to recruit a Process Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be working 4on /4off shifts within our Process/Plant. To ensure that other than planned downtime the processing plant is available and running at optimum levels at all times.
- Use continuous improvement techniques and best practice to improve machine efficiencies.
- Deliver and develop effective reactive maintenance, repairs & improvements on plant and process equipment.
- This includes pumps, pneumatic valves, homogeniser servicing, effluent testing etc
- Identify parts required for maintenance repairs and complete parts request forms
- Complete Work Orders, PPMs assigned on time and to a good standard
- Help develop and implement effective PM schedules
- Support and achieve the engineering department KPI's
What you will need to succeed:
- Electrically & Mechanical bias preferable
- Multi-skilled automation skills on process equipment or equivalent
- Excellent fault finding and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience of working in a FMCG environment
- Comfortable in autonomous decision making and team working.
- Logical approach to problem solving.
