Thrive Shepton are recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of our client in Wells, Somerset. To assist with production, filling and packaging of products to a high standard.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operating machinery - filling machine and labelling machines
- Filling, lidding, labelling & packing bottles and jars
- Packing customer orders for dispatch
- Ensuring a high quality standard is always met
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices
- Keeping the production area clean & tidy
- Ensure job sheets and packing lists are complete at end of production run.
- Follow all company policies and management systems
- Ensure you follow all health and safety rules
- Working on your own or as part of a team
Personal Attributes/ Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
- A positive and flexible can do attitude
- Ability to work as part of a larger team or on own initiative (if required)
- Punctual and adaptable
- Highly Motivated
- Good communication skills
- Basic level of numeracy and literacy
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Time keeping
- Reliable
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday 0700-1530 & Friday 0700-1430 (flexibility required in busier periods)
Pay Rate:
- £11.50 per hour
This role could lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate
