Quality & Environmental Manager, permanent career opportunity for a time-served engineer who may have secured a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, someone who can demonstrate a robust track record in quality management systems, within a high precision manufacturing field, with the ability to manage and lead a diverse quality team based in Wiltshire. This is a full-time position, working a day shift with some attractive employee benefits and an annual salary up to £55,000.

Your career history will evidence a minimum of 5 years Quality/Environmental Management and Engineering skills gained within the manufacturing sector, best suited to a candidate who has worked within CNC machining, general tooling, with CMM methods/knowledge and maybe within the composite or aerospace/F1 engineering fields. You will be required to 'lead from the front' in all quality engineering operations, able to lead audits, inspect, review and draw upon your career history to enable accurate and proactive training of others in a wider quality team environment.

As a Quality & Environmental Manager, you will have an in-depth understanding of AS/EN9100/EN9100D/ISO14001, quality inspection and management procedures with proven experience in preparing major audits and necessary quality inspections, further supporting the quality process documentation stages. Knowledge of MRP systems, First Article Inspection Reporting (FAIRS), batch routing and process control further compliments the overall skills and experience needed in this high-profile role.

As Quality & Environmental Manager, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to motivate, train and coach and produce reports for senior management are further skill sets required, therefore advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) are key.
