Quality Assurance Auditor

Thrive Group Skelmersdale is thrilled to present a very exciting opportunity to join a technical team for one of our most successful clients in Skelmersdale WN8. This is a very varied and interesting role that is critical for the health of the buisness.

You will be a frontline and key person, you're influence will spread far and wide across the buisness. You will work along side the prodcution, process and despatch teams.

This means you will need to fully conversant with Quality Systems (QMS) so that you can provide the technical support needed to all of the departments. Ensuring food safety, quality, legislative standards and customer requirements are consistently met and managed.

You will work on a shift based rota, you will support the buisness by identifying non-conformances and working with colleagues at all levels to get it right the first time. You will be a key person in driving customer complaints and waste down to within or exceed KPI targets.

You will be required to carry out:-

> Hygiene inspections

> GMP audits

> PPM audits

> Traceability audits

> Assist in the control of non- conforming products

> Audit comprehensive QC records

> Complete routine 'red pen checks' end to end (checking the checker)

> Conduct product quality panels

> Assist and support in the management of packaging stocks

You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, have a positive approach, and have a commitment to providing first class customer service.

Pay rate - Starting at £9.50 and after full training is provided the wage will go up significantly. The right candidate should have a good knowledge of the above and possess an interest in a career in auditing.

The shift pattern will be:-

2pm - 10pm or 10am - 6pm and you can choose between the two.
