Job Title: Resourcing Manager
Location: Salisbury
Hours: 37hrs (flexible ) Hybrid working 3 office days / 2 home days (following probation)
Salary Band: £37,167 - £41,268 per annum

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Head of Resourcing, lead your regional Resourcing team to ensure a comprehensive, robust, and positive recruiting service and experience is delivered. Provide support on projects and KPIs, facilitate resourcing training, act as a specialist in resourcing and recruitment, and support stakeholders and candidates on the correct process and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and On boarding:

  • Lead the recruitment process for new employees from start to finish, including preparation of application packs, checking paperwork, and guiding the Resourcing team with completing necessary checks.
  • Build and maintain talent pools to support organisational needs.
  • Design and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and inclusive candidate pool.
  • Ensure regular interviews and open or experience day's to attract new employees.
  • Develop regional Resourcing KPIs and liaise with the Head of Resourcing to ensure these are updated regularly.
  • Recruit casual employees with specific skill sets to create a talent bank.
  • Work with Senior Leadership Teams to review staffing capacity and forecast future resourcing needs.
  • Lead on specialist recruitment needs and leadership recruitment.
  • Support new employees in their roles, including mandatory training as part of induction.
  • Maintain effective record-keeping of mandatory training.
  • Attend and participate in regular recruitment-related meetings.
  • Develop relationships with third-party recruitment agencies or suppliers.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Directly line manage the regional Resourcing team.
  • Advise on business reviews for cost reduction.
  • Support and deliver on apprenticeship recruitment.
  • Assist in projects and TUPE transfer preparation and mergers.
  • Conduct regular reporting on trends and service improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Development Team to develop the employer brand.
  • Ensure resourcing branding aligns with the Development Team's formats.
  • Liaise with the Development Team on events requiring branding and merchandise.
  • Ensure the brand is professionally represented at all events.
  • Develop and implement a calendar for recruiting events.

Person Specification:

Qualifications & Training:

  • Relevant qualifications including GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent experience.
  • Ideally, have or be prepared to study a recruitment qualification.
  • Safeguarding, Safer Recruitment, and Prevent training.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Highly organised with excellent resourcing/recruitment skills.
  • Strategic approach to delivering effective recruiting services.
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRMIS.
  • Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Flexible, with a 'can-do' approach.
  • Ability to prioritise and work accurately with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to investigate, analyse, and problem-solve.
  • Respect for confidentiality of personal information.
