Senior Quantity Surveyor - North Wales

Job Description

Senior Quantity Surveyor, this is a salaried, permanent full time career opportunity for a seasoned Senior QS who can evidence a minimum of 7-10 years previous experience working for UK based civil infrastructure companies. Based in North Wales, there is a requirement to be site based, therefore accommodation will be provided. Salary range between £65k - £80k, with an attractive car allowance plus a range of exceptional employee benefits.

Educated to Degree Level in quantity surveying or commercial management (RICS) or chartered status (MRICS), you will demonstrate a robust track record in project managing finances and contractual relationships with construction companies, managing availability and cost of raw materials, ensuring that clear and collaborative communication skills are maintained within the wider project and civils team. You will provide commercial support to throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining high value, commercial information, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements between suppliers and sub-contractors.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work in collaboration with key stakeholders and construction professionals, you will oversee major construction projects whilst delivering against operational and financial budgetary expectations. Partnering with local authorities, councils, land registry and utility companies, you will have proven skills and expertise when preparing maps and land reports, measuring land boundaries, providing reports and findings to the client, the key stakeholders, and sub-contractors.

Responsible for making recommendations on the suitability of land for the desired build or project, to purchase and maintain all required equipment required on site the effective completion of site and land surveys, the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor will cover all key elements outlined in this new project role.
