Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Bath who are actively looking to recruit a Service Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

As an experienced Service Manager to join our busy and successful team at a leading motor dealership in Bath. You will provide exceptional customer service ensuring a positive experience for every customer.

  • Maximise departmental performance in line with market potentials through the sale of labour, parts and materials.
  • Plan the optimum utilisation of the workshop capacity.
  • Carry out recall programs and procedures as per manufacturers guidelines and recommendations.
  • Ensure the highest possible standard of workmanship within the workshops and to ensure that all work is completed on time and to customer satisfaction.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally from a motor trade background.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle difficult or irate customers with professionalism and empathy.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to assist with troubleshooting customer issues.
  • Proficient in cash handling and point-of-sale systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
