Stock Assistant (part-time)

Job Description

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in the Trowbridge area, who are actively looking to recruit a Stock Assistant to join the team on a permanent part-time basis.

What you will be doing:

Working in a busy and friendly team, duties will include :

  • Checking stock on arrival and investigating stock discrepancies
  • Reporting stock discrepancies and conducting regular stock checks
  • Picking stock for orders
  • Assisting within production and adhoc duties as and when required

What you need in order to succeed :

  • A proven track record working with stock/goods-in, ideally gained within manufacturing/production
  • Strong IT skills including data entry and MRP systems
  • Forklift licence would also be an advantage
  • The ability to identify areas for improvement within process and quality
  • Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • An organised and self-motivated approach with the ability to work in a pressurised environment

What you will receive in return:

  • To £15,000pa
  • Monday to Friday 15-20 hours per week
