Thrive Group are recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader on a permanent basis, with a view to start immediately.
This position is located in the Andover area, paying £26,900 per annum.
This is a full-time position, working 14:00-22:00, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities of the role includes;
- To operate flexibly in a warehouse team working environment; ensuring that hygiene, quality levels and performance standards are met, whilst promoting safe working practices
- To check customers outbound deliveries and products creating an environment that ensures customers can rely upon 100% accuracy and timely dispatch of finished goods placed in our care.
- To always work in a way that safeguards both your personal safety and the safety of all who work in the warehouse.
- Accurate completion of all out bound and inbound load paperwork.
- Other tasks in support of the warehouse operation as directed/requested.
- Responsible for highlighting any potential quality issues, including hygiene and damage issues to your Manager.
- Completion of necessary process control and quality documented records, in a timely manner (QC Checks).
The successful candidate will:
- The ability to safely operate warehouse equipment including pallet trucks and forklift vehicles.
- Good PC literacy and the ability to use the systems applicable to the warehouse or the capability to use them after suitable training.
- Knowledge of the safe systems of work specified for the warehouse and of the H&S policies/procedures that apply to the company premises and its operations.
- Ability to work in a small team and with minimal supervision to consistently produce results that hit the targets agreed with our customers or set by the company.
- The flexibility to adapt and manage change.
- To work at pace and prioritise a varied and demanding workload.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- The possession of both Flexi and Counterbalance forklift drivers' licence.
- To be numerate and methodical in working method.
- Willingness to participate in other development and training opportunities.
