We are actively seeking a Technical /Food Safety Manager to ensure our clients site is fully embraced and adheres to all applicable legal and customer technical standards.
The role will include:-
- Leading a team of 3 QA technicians responsible for QMS, complaints, Internal auditing and supplier assurance.
- Motivating and developing your team by being visible in the factory, leading by example and working closely with other managers to ensure technical integrity and best practice
- To support and facilitate all third party and customer technical audits.
- Ensure site HACCP plans for all products are established, implemented, maintained and verified.
- To complete and respond to customer technical queries
- Alerting adverse trends and arranging effective action plans in a timely manner
- To risk assess and manage concessions / minor change / investigation reports
- To manage the technical aspects and compliance of the site Effluent Treatment System
Requirements:-
- Relevant technical management experience within the food industry
- Food science degree or equivalent
- Strong leadership skills able to coach and develop teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills able to develop good working relationships cross functionally
