Trainee Mobile Service Engineer, permanent career opportunity based in and around the Wiltshire area. Ideally having previous employment as a Service Engineer, you may be looking to learn a new trade sector, joining an employer who can provide excellent levels of training in the mechanical pump and filtration services field. This is a permanent full time post Monday to Friday offered with a salary up to £28,000 per annum plus some excellent employee benefits and the use of a company service van, post successful probation.
The local office is based in Devizes; therefore, you will need your own transport to get to site. You will receive excellent levels of product and skills training aimed at supporting repairs and maintenance within the utilities sector, and you must have a Full UK Driving Licence. Supported by experienced service engineers you will receive the very best training, therefore plenty of patience and attention to detail is required to ensure that you become confident, knowledgeable, and experienced in the job role.
As a Trainee Mobile Service Engineer, you will have the opportunity to utilise your mechanical and electrical maintenance skills, learning all about hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance requirements for the service and repair of pumps and pipework. The work is carried out on a range of Wiltshire based customer residential and commercial properties, assessing initial issues and solving through final repair, replacement and ongoing maintenance of parts and services.
This position requires an engineering mind set, with some mechanical/electrical knowledge in order to assess and provide best outcomes for the business and end customer. You will need excellent levels of verbal and face-to-face customer service skills, with the ability to discuss issues and propose necessary actions confidently and professionally.
