Procurement and Systems Administrator

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our marketing leading manufacturing client in Trowbridge, who are actively seeking to engage a Procurement and Systems Administrator to join the team on permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the updating and analysis of the Sales Order system, duties to include:

  • Ordering daily from MRP
  • Send priority lists to suppliers and chase suppliers daily
  • Setting up new and changing Bill of Materials
  • Changing MOQ's and ordering polices
  • Investigate incorrect figures/values and finding route cause
  • Adding options
  • Setting up new parts
  • Price updates
  • Arrange and prepare for stock meetings
  • Be proactive to contact suppliers when orders need to be brought forward
  • Quarterly stock checks
  • Working with design manager for bespoke orders
  • Communicate with the factory on parts coming in and any changes made
  • Arranging collections

What you will need to succeed:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, dealing with sales orders, stock, and supply.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Numerate with high attention to detail.
  • IT systems oriented, proficient with MRP systems

What you will receive in return:

  • £21,021 to £22,000 per annum
  • Monday to Thursday 08.30AM to 17.00pm, Friday 08.00 to 15.00PM - 38.30 hours per week
  • Standard Holiday, with 10 days off over Christmas - 3 days from allowance.
