Purchasing Administrator

Job Description

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in the Trowbridge area, who are actively looking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

Working in a busy and friendly team, you will provide essential support to the purchasing team - duties will include :

  • Scheduling and coordinating production workflow
  • Allocation of stock across the business
  • Managing workforce, equipment and raw materials required for production
  • Raising and monitoring jobs to ensure they are completed on time
  • Manufacturing reporting
  • Maintaining inventory to the required level
  • Working to KPIs and achieving Service Levels
  • Liaison with a number of departments
  • Adhoc duties as and when required

What you need in order to succeed :

  • A proven track record in purchasing, stock experience also beneficial
  • Strong IT skills including Excel and MRP systems
  • A good level of numeracy and excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • An organised and self-motivated approach with the ability to work in a pressurised environment

What you will receive in return:

  • To £30,000pa DOE
  • Monday to Friday full time (office based)
