Teaching Assistants, permanent, salaried roles based in Swindon working for a leading provider of educational services for SEND and in mainstream schools. These positions are available on a full time or part time basis, offering excellent annualised salaries (up to £16.00 per hour) plus some exceptional employee benefits (25% contributory group pension scheme, health and well being support and a range of retail discounts.

You may have worked as a Teaching Assistant or within the Social Care Sector, or simply looking to secure a successful career in education. There are several opportunities available for candidates who are keen to work with children/students (ages from 8-19), those who need higher levels of support for learning, those students with sometimes severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders. The class sizes are much smaller with a maximum of 12 students, making the learning journey more accessible and realistic.

As a Teaching Assistant you will receive the very best training and support available in the education sector, with a natural ability to manage complex and challenging situation, offering a calm and professional approach to the needs of others and in some cases be willing to undertake the personal care element for students seeking additional support.

Naturally, you will have undertaken previous DBS checks, or be willing to undertake, coupled with an excellent knowledge and understanding of occupational health or willing to invest in further, relevant training. We are looking for previous employment references that cover 3-5 years with genuine interest in education.
